The CJP Coronavirus Emergency Fund was launched March 15 to address pressing needs in our community as a result of the pandemic. 100 % of the money raised will support community members facing hardship – particularly vulnerable people who may already be socially isolated, in fragile health, or in financial crisis. The Holocaust Center of Pittsburgh connects the horrors of the Holocaust and antisemitism with injustices of today. Through education, the Holocaust Center seeks to address these injustices and empower individuals to build a more civil and humane society. Offerings include exhibits in the Center’s public gallery, an extensive library and archive, engaging cultural events, internationally renowned speakers, and free and affordable resources for teachers. As stewards of Holocaust history, the Holocaust Center keeps the stories of Holocaust survivors, victims, and rescuers alive for future generations.

Terezín Music Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the musical legacy of composers lost in the Holocaust with concert events, commissions, recordings, films, books, exhibits, and Holocaust and genocide education programs around the world. Celebrated musicians premiere TMF commissions in major international concert venues, and these new works are also woven into our ongoing programs, including concerts produced through our partnership with the Prague Spring Festival. They are a poignant call to honor life, humanity, and the creative spirit. TMF is founded and directed by Fulbright scholar and Boston Symphony Orchestra violist emeritus Mark Ludwig and guided by our esteemed Advisory Board.
